ABSOLUTE INCS DISTRIB DEAL WITH BAYSIDE
Absolute Records has announced their new distribution partnership with Bayside Entertainment Distribution. Bayside is owned by the same company that owns the Tower Records chain. Bayside will be distributing Absolute product to great music retailers all across America. The first release to come out of this partnership will be "Friction," the new record from Absolute recording artists THESE 5 DOWN. Absolute's entire back catalog will also be re-released and distributed through Bayside. Dez Dickerson, President of Absolute Records, had this to say about the new partnership, "We're excited to be partnering with Bayside. They are a great company with very seasoned veteran industry leadership. We're looking forward to a great season of growth and productivity in partnership with Bayside." The THESE 5 DOWN project is scheduled for a mid-August street date. Other new releases will be announced soon.

MONSTER GARAGE'S JESSE JAMES GRABS SOME BIG FAT JAM
Absolute recording artists BIG FAT JAM have some big time fans! Among them is master bike builder and Monster Garage guru Jesse James. Recently, Jesse James has put together a documentary for the Discovery Channel entitled "The History of the Chopper." He liked the band's music so much that he opted to put not just one, but two of their songs on the documentary's soundtrack. ("Searchin'" and "Close to the Ground") Absolute Records will also be re-releasing "Welcome to Wonderland", the debut album from BIG FAT JAM, through it's new distribution partners Bayside Entertainment Distribution.
